Why Penterra exists
Most AI content is written for engineers. Most AI tools are priced for funded companies. Penterra is built for everyone else.
I started Penterra Analytics in 2018 as a market research business. It ran well for a few years, then the work stopped. The company sat dormant.
In 2025, I spent a weekend at a Claude Code bootcamp. By Sunday evening I had built five working tools. I am not an engineer. I have never written production code. But by the end of that weekend I had things deployed to real URLs that did real things.
That changed how I think about what is possible for people without technical backgrounds.
Most working professionals in India are watching AI from a distance. They use ChatGPT for quick answers. They worry AI will make their skills irrelevant. But they have not built anything with it yet. The gap between watching AI and building with AI is smaller than most people think. It just needs someone to walk them through it.
And most small businesses in India — the consultant, the salon owner, the clinic, the contractor — cannot afford a software development agency. They run on WhatsApp, Word documents, and spreadsheets. There is a version of every one of those businesses that works better with a simple AI tool. They just need someone to build it at a price that makes sense.
That is what Penterra does. I revived the company under that mission. Two service lines, one purpose: make AI useful for people who are not already in the industry.
